Re: Thin Client t610 and change (windows) domain password

Hello,

I am having the same issue on my HP 5565 thin clients.  Mine are on the same subnet as the domain controller.  When my users get the password change dialog, it populates the domain controller ip address, which is supplied by DHCP.  This process always fails with the same error message as above.  In order to succeed, I have to populate the Domain Controller field with the name of my Domain.  That is the only way to make it succeed.  My users don't know to do this, and I shouldn't have to tell them.  I have joined my think client to the domain without any errors.  I also have the domain name populated in every place that I can see to do it.  My thin has succeeded in registering with my DNS.  Everything seems fine except that it populates that one field incorrectly.
